Sharafantah.
Yes, Sheikh?
Do you still reject the books of our valiant ancestors and cling to the Quran alone?!
Yes, indeed, Sheikh. The Quran is sufficient for me.
Well, if you deny the "purified" Prophetic Sunnah and suffice with the Quran, then tell me: what is the meaning of Safa and Marwa? What is the meaning of "The Most Merciful is established over the Throne"? Tell me the interpretation of these verses without relying on the books of our valiant ancestors!
First, I am not before a judging and evaluation committee for you to assess my faith! Who are you and what do you represent to demand these inquiries of me? Are you God? Are you the Messenger of God? Are you a deputy for God? Do you have a proxy from God? The answer is no. Therefore, your evaluation of me has no weight for me or for God. You do not have the right to establish what you call "the argument" to know a person's piety, so go easy on us, O center of the universe.
Second: My relationship with God does not depend on my knowledge of these verses you mentioned, and on which you base your argument. My answer is: I do not know with certainty the intended meaning of the verses, and my ignorance in not knowing them does no harm.
God will not punish me nor prevent me from entering Paradise because I did not know the meaning of these verses and their like, but He will punish me if I commit prohibitions. And prohibitions are detailed and clear to every rational person.
But Sharafantah, they are not clear and need clarification from our noble jurists, may God reward them and feed them birds.
Perhaps you are right, because I specified that they are clear to every "rational person" and not to all people.
